Thank you. I’m still not sure it has sunk in. I’m hoping to get the weights in the next couple of days. Dalton said it can a week or more before they can get them out of the skull.

I’m bad about taking pictures of the camp but I did get a few. Attached are pictures of the dining area, the bar (in the middle of very bad drought water can be up to the bar) the chalet and a picture coming into camp in an area normally under water.

Wow, what a bull, and the Bushbuck and Waterbuck are just outstanding. Congratulations for a successful safari and you completing your Big-5. Well done! :A Clapping::A Clapping:
Congratulations on achieving the big 5!!!!!! Not many people have, well done!!!!!

Just received a Whatsapp from Dalton and both of my tusk are almost the same weight - 33 pounds apiece. Now the fun of dealing with USFW to get them to Missouri.

Congrats on such a great bull as well as the others. Wow, I just can’t get over the size of one. They must be jaw dropping in person right next to it. Memories for life.

It truly is amazing and humbling to be along side something that big. Definitely something that will last with me for the rest of my life.

Great report. Thanks for banging it out. D&Y deliver... again.

I was guessing 40 lbs on the tusks

That river bed was dry when I was there last September. I don't think they have seen water there for a few years now.

Yes, it has been very dry. Dalton said 100% crop lost this year. We tracked through a couple of the fields and you can see that any plants that did germinate had been eaten to the ground.

Congrats on the bull and I love the bushbuck...very tall.
