Actual Itemized Costs of Dipping, Packing, Shipping and Mounting three Trophies from Zimbabwe 2021

I'll definitely name drop them once this is resolved.

I'd agree. I was surprised when they doubled down on the delivery date when they told me they'd look into the charges. I'd like to call them, but the only phone number shown for any of them people I've spoken to is a corporate number associated with the parent company. I'm not quite at the level of exasperation needed to brave call trees and "you are caller number 35. Please remain on the line. Your estimate remaining wait is...3 hours" yet.
If it’s who I think it is make the phone call and say who you want to speak with you will be connected in one minute. Make the phone call there will be no caller 35 and 3 hour wait. Making posts alluding to a problem before you’ve taken all steps to fix it isn’t professional either, regardless of how they answer their emails.

Fair enough. This evening we did try to contact each other by phone but weren’t successful. Hopeful I’ll be able to reach them tomorrow and make some headway.

News: I was able to get in touch with one of the customs clearing reps. I didn't get a ton of details other than there seems to have been some sort of delay of my crate in Turkey that wound up accruing a significant amount of storage fees--and these fees seem to be much higher than normal due to the supply chain shortages/back-ups of the last year.

The short version...the customs house (Trophy Shippers) took care of those $2400 in fees for me, and so I only wound up being responsible for the customs fee and delivery. Very happy with that resolution and the customer service I received from them in the end. Crate arrived yesterday afternoon. It means that all told it cost about $5300 to go from dead trophy to taxidermy in my living room. Moral of the story, I guess, is definitely press the test on fees that seem to be outside the norm. Also, super pleased with the quality of the taxidermy. Bullesye did a fantastic job.

Good morning,
Did you hunt w Leeuwkop at their ranch or in Zimbabwe? The ranch looks awesome, but I'll be in Zimbabwe for buffalo and whatever else we dig up.
What did you hunt for?
Vaccines?
What rifle did you use?
I feel like I need a good cotton safari shirt and an ammo belt to make the hunt feel right!
How often did you shoot prior to going?
Did you use sticks for shooting practice?

Tedd
