Isn’t 6.5 a bit on the light side for dangerous game, and pretty much everything in Africa is dangerous, unless you’re hunting deer size critters.
So what do ya do when a Monster interrupts your hunt. ( Go big or don’t go. ) 375 H&H or bigger. Just saying.

I see they mention the Grendel and the 6.5x55 but I bettered the grendel by a good 200fps with my Grendel-Max and out"cooled" the x55 with the x57, so yea the creed sucks.

To those in the know, the 6.5 Creed is just a 6.5 x 55 "wannabe." BTW I'm surprised that Bob hasn't suggested this thread be removed for spreading lies and misinformation!! I agree with you Von Gruff, just about any 6.5 beats a Creedmoor.

No mate but I am awake now and enjoying a coffee and having a good laugh about all the nay sayers trying to ruffle my feathers. Little do they realize that when I had my shoulder operated on they put on some extra Teflon so the shit slides off easier. Nothing that can be said will bother me but I will be highly amused by what people will say to bring the mighty Whelen down.
