That's a helluva deal, especially in todays market. I've looked at one of these at Cabelas, a really nice rifle.
Somebody needs to grab this! It won't last long.

Thanks for the heads-up, and that does indeed appear to be a beautiful rifle! I called that Cabelas store, and the gun is Sale Pending to another gun store; they are just awaiting the delivery of some tax documentation. In the event the sale falls through, they have my number.

That early run you and I went on probably kept some of the others away! Thanks again, I truly appreciate you letting me win that one. I now have my one and probably only “stopper”. It’s a nice round out to the top of my CZ portfolio.

Have you recieved it? Do you have ammo? I'd love to hear how it feeds. Had to send mine back for work and it still doesn't like nickle plated cartridges.

I have not received it yet. I asked a lot of questions before bidding, and the seller sent me videos showing it feeding rounds. It appears to feed the rounds smooth at multiple angles, but until I get it I will not know 100%. I will keep you all posted on it when it arrives. It is coming with 25 A squared factory round (I have several hundred A Squared for my 375 and love it) as well as 50 new Norma Brass and about 50 each of Barnes TSX 525’s and Woodleigh PPSN 600’s.

Restored, so no real collector value. Its value is as a shooter. I would think of it as a $1200 to $1500 rifle. Hopefully the fellow who bought it will find a customer when he is ready to move it.

It was a fairly anemic rimmed .375 round used in Lee Speed sporters and a few doubles. It was a wild boar an red stag class cartridge, and it was fairly popular in colonial India for chital deer (axis) and other animals of that class.
