On day 4 of my hunt, we got this Big Beautiful Tom on trailcam during the day. He was escorting a lonely female cat trying his pawn at some Lovin!!

This is great! I’ve never seen pics of how they hang baits. I’ve always imagined it from reading Capstick and Ruark.

Since, we saw the male leopard on the bait we decided to hunt that evening. The 1st couple of hours were very quite but we did hear a baboon making a racket indicating we had a leopard near by the bait. Nothing materialized that evening but we’re confident either the female or male were near by the bait. After last shooting light we headed back to camp.

Before dinner, I sat beside the campfire and had a diet coke and watched a gorgeous sunset. Later that evening, I tried my 1st plate of hippo tail and was very apprehensive of the thought of eating animal tail. Boy was I wrong, It tasted amazing and was very tinder piece of meat. After dinner, I had another night filled with elephant and lions roars that last most of the night.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
