Your Favorite Africa Hunting Photo

Hatari is a supercool movie.
But here you can see John Wayne ,Elsa Martinelli and an other for me unknown guy during the Hatari Sylvester party in Momella.
They don't look very amused.

Not long before he passed away, I had the privilege of having lunch with Jan Oelofse at his ranch in Namibia. He was the handler for many of the animals in the movie, including the Cheetah. In the scene where Elsa Martinelli is joined by the big kitty while she is taking a bath, Jan is on the floor behind the tub managing the cat. His description of the scene was hilarious.

Maybe not my absolute favorite, but a close. The final sunset on my husband and I's first safari. I took it with my iPhone in the brush waiting on them to bring my kudu in via tractor to take photos with the kudu he had just killed (within an hour of mine being taken from a different herd on the same farm).

Also, this thread is great, so I figured why not keep it alive.

Wife during our elephant ride. One of our most memorable days of our trip.

Wife with "her" Kudu, which she claimed after I shot it. Until this day, this is her Kudu and the mount sits above our tv over the fire place. :)

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
