Some nice pictures depicting Africa here.

Slogging a Kudu bull out of the Karas Mountains in Namibia for a good twoo miles to the closest road.

Just after I started dating my wife she proved to be a keeper. Processing a Nyala in a concession with no cooling facilities in November at 38 degrees.

Too many Africa "favorites"! But I will always remember the kids, no matter the country. First group from a village in Zambia the second is "daycare/school" at a ranch in Botswana.

Two lions in Tanzania. My wife took this photo and I cropped it and use it in my avatar. I love how the manes and faces from the two lions just seem to blend into each other.

The second photo, also in Tanz, is "Wildebeest as far as the eye can see."

Another one of my favorites, after a great day of hunting in the Kalahari

Great photo! Though
bit of a goofy Euro-saddle thing going on. Those hunter stirrup straps wouldn't last very long in Texas brush country. Just saying. ;)

Do not deceive you my friend.
The Boers are a cavalry nation.
But I know, a Texas Ranger only stays on horseback in a western saddle.
Everything else is for him a stamp with stirrups :)

My son and fellow PH who will makes to return again and again...somebody know him:Troll:

As others have said, it is hard to choose a photo. I am not sure if this is my favorite, but this topi was the first animal I shot that was bigger than me.

Many decades have past and time dulls the memories, but you can see the pride and excitement shinning through the smile of that young boys face. I can't read his mind, but I know he felt blessed and had a prayer of thankfulness on his lips.

Getting to experience my son's first hunting trip to Africa may eclipse those feelings. There is nothing like the first time.......

Hard to pic one, but my first African sunset while tracking a couple of Kudu bulls we never caught up with is way up there.

Edward, Very unique and great looking Nyala. Looks like a cross with a bongo.

Did this nyala have testicles. The colorization makes me wonder if he was a eunuch.
