My favorite picture isn’t even me, it’s my father in law. Just the pure joy and happiness on his face made the trip more than worth it.

I had the opportunity to guide a hunter that brought his young daughter along. What a privilage to observe from a distance the amount of love and care he took to start teaching her the skills that any huntress may one day need....

Just can't pick one.......

I hope members share some of their moments in this thread.

Picking just one is tough for sure.... We are so fortunate to have many great memories. However, this one always brings a smile to my face. :)

I have hundreds of favorite pictures from Africa. But the first trip got me hooked and this was one of my favorites that was not just of the hunting or trophy picture.

That gives me some guideline, but damn.

This one does the same thing for me. The realization of seeing my first sunset in Africa!

Nothing says Africa like a bullet hole in your guest house's bathroom window.:ROFLMAO:

Seriously, Sunset over the Great Karoo.

At least it appears to be going out, instead of in.

It was coming in. The glass was smooth on the outside, broken on the inside. Wasn't exactly a comforting thing when the power went out. Visions of Blade Runner running through your mind.

Love this picture of my oldest boy with his kudu hunting with Andri Fox Safari’s in the Eastern Cape. One happy boy! Definitely one of the best memories of my life.

Congrats to her and beautiful marking on that nyala.

Because I coach high school football in Texas, I was offered an opportunity to go watch high school rugby in Namibia. This allowed my Ph Jacq Strauss and his older brother Monea to play in an alumni game. The catch is Monea had to fly from J'berg into Windhoek. I believe had I declined the offer then the two brother their wives and mom and dad would not have been able to spend the weekend together. This picture is of a family that had not seen each other for quite awhile. It is my trophy picture from this summer's hunt in Namibia.(y)(y)(y)

Two of my favorites. Both taken in Swakopmund Namibia.

The first is the lovely Mrs Red Leg negotiating for trinkets with an Ovahimba woman (The white sweater has ochre stains to this day - a great souvenir)
And the second is a real NatGeo moment when the two little Ovahimba boys behind her were caught playing with the remains of a bag of cement.

Hello Doug,
I am Philippe from France and plan to go hunting Caprivi in 2026, Oct.
I have read on AH you had some time in Vic Falls after hunting. May I ask you with whom you have planned / organized the Chobe NP tour and the different visits. (with my GF we will have 4 days and 3 nights there)
Thank in advance, I will appreciate your response.
Merci
Philippe

Hi Walden. Good morning from England, Chris here (The Englishman!) from Croatia. Firstly it was a pleasure to meet you and Michelle - a fellow Sanderson! I have finally joined AH as I enjoy it very much. Glad you enjoyed the hunt and your write up which I read on AR was very good indeed. I am sending on WhatsApp pics from Bojan of some of the animals hunted recently. Take care and best regards. CS.
