That's a fantastic and well-thought-out list covering everything from small game to large, dangerous game. The 9.3x62 is a brilliant and underrated cartridge, offering tremendous power with very manageable recoil. It's hard to argue with classics that have proven themselves so effectively. The 375 WBy thread got me thinking of my favorite hunting cartridges off all time.
Here are mine:
22 LR
9.3x62 (followed close my a 375 wby--less bark with the 9.3)
450/400 3" (really it was the gun it was in--but was a sweet shooting as they come)

I flinched 3 times reading this. The 338 win mag hunted with it 40 years
The 416 rem mag used it 12 years in Alaska
The 338-378 weatherby my long range rifle in Alaska for 12 years totally awesome shot as flat at a 220 swift .
@BJH65I’ve revised my choices after our last trip for elephant and buffalo, I really have an affinity for the 458 Lott. So my favorites are now:
458 Lott
416 Rigby or 416 Rem
300 Win Mag
Bob is very tough, my son has a light weight 338 win mag its too much for me off the bench.@BJH65
Had the chance to fire a 458 Lott in a Ruger No1 with full house 500gn loads. Expected to be slapped silly from all that I've been told and read.
Can honestly say it wasn't that bad. Very tolerable. Didn't even need my big boy pants, the wife's frilly knickers would have been fine
