Your 3 favorite hunting cartridges of all time

22 LR
28 Nosler
7mm-08

8,68 s
9.3*62
375 H&H
and 6.5 cred (sorry one more)

300 H&H Magnum
28 Nosler
7mm-08

My new favorites are
450 NE given it is so classic and a Rigby London
275 Rigby Highland Stalker again a classic caliber by a great gun maker
404 Jeffery are you getting I am a classic Nostalgia kind of Africa hunting type of person

I have new favourites now, but the calibres with which I have hunted, and enjoyed, most are:
270 WIN
338 WINMAG
458 Lott

If we were ever limited to one gun it would be 338WM.
I come to the same conclusion every time!

6.8 spc
6.5 creedmoor/PRC
375 Ruger

The 6.8 is great in a short 12.5” AR and hits hogs way harder than 223 and 300blk. Super handy rifle
6.5 is great on pretty much any animal I’d come across in Texas and can be used for the majority of everything in North America. Shoots flat and barely loses energy as it flies.
375 ruger for the things the first 2 won’t kill reliably and my trip to Africa.

I’ve probably killed more animals with the 6.8 spc than any other cartridge I use stalking. But in a blind the 6.5 creed has the highest count so far.

Just moving to DM. Yes, please ask your friend if he knows somebody who might be willing to support a persistent hunt in the snow.

This is Daniel from Mankazana Safaris.

I saw your post regarding a hunt in Africa. I am sure you have been bombarded with messages and replies from other outfitters, so I will keep this one quick.
I have a feeling we have exactly what you need for a first safari.
