Your 3 favorite hunting cartridges of all time

Or for me the right answer could be
.22 magnum rim fire
.308 win.
.375 H&H
:-) Just fooling with your head, personal choices are ... Personal!

… how interesting, a thread that started in Sept 2010 still has legs in Dec 2021 so why not …

.264 Win Mag
.300 Win Mag
Tie = .375 H&H & 9.3x62 (LOL, ties let you cheat & list four/4)

I want to make it clear these are my favorites. There are several other rifles I use a great deal.

22-250 - from Remington Custom Shop. Had it made over 50 years ago. On its second barrel

300 Win Mag. - crafted by the late, great Seely Masker. It too on second barrel

416 Rigby. - by Griffin & Howe smithed with great care many decades in the past. Has taken countless animals including scores of Mbogo. Even has a leopard claw mark on stock. I would request being buried with it if my Son did not want it so badly.

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
