Your 2025 Hunt Plans?

Gee whiz, after reading all the responses, I'm feeling a little under gunned. With that said, I'm in Spain now. Shot a Southeastern Ibex two days ago and will start on the Ronda tomorrow afternoon.

2025? I hope to get to a nice little Africa visit in mid-July with my friend Warren.

With that said, I'm taking my wife to the Sheep Show in January and maybe the Western Wildlife Expos as well... she is getting the bug and may add to the list!

If not, I have eleven grand babies that need attention! Especially in the shooting sports. I hope to be there for them.

I know plus a Grouse and fish I believe!!!
The fish is probably the hardest of the lot, a 5kg tiger is not common. But we will sort that out on your next trip to Zimbabwe! In the meantime get the Scottish Highland stag, and the bird can be partridge, pheasant or grouse. And a dram or two and some haggis.

Don’t laugh probably cheating…can I take the pheasant on a hunt in the US?

The bird must be taken in the UK, not strictly Scotland, anywhere in the UK. Why not take ir at the same time that you come for your stag? We can assist, I'll tell you more on the Carruthers thread.

A true McNab is a salmon, grouse and stag in the same day

Still working on 2025 plans, but what I currently have scheduled/booked are:
- ducks and geese on the Eastern shore of MD in January,
- spring turkey in SC in April,
- tahr and chamois in New Zealand in May,
- black bear / whitetail in NC in November,
- pheasants in Nebraska in December.

Still trying to get a elk hunt this fall in Utah or Idaho.

Nothing yet, but the auctions are about to happen, and I'm a sucker!

DSC is in Atlanta in January, so who knows???

(Why Atlanta, BTW???) I live nearby, and I like it, but I don't understand it...

You hombres are killing me! I’ll have to read your reports on here to get my fix, mostly. After spending a lot of dollars this past year, (and still have to pay for taxidermy) I’m relegated to some fishing trips at the coast here in Texas. My wife and I like to hike, and we just did some hiking in Big Bend last week. We are trying to plan a tourist trip to Alaska, we have no idea where to go yet.

I have to ask question: how do you manage available spare time to get two times or more to Africa in a year!?

Stop caring about work. I'm halfway serious about that.

Bezoar Ibex (Turkey) in Feb
Leopard (Namibia) in July
Chamois (Croatia) in November

Going to be a good year!

Well, I might after my kids graduate at college.

Good plan you have there for 2025! Wish you success! ;)

I see you have Chammy planned in Croatia for next year. If you have any questions about my country let me know any time!

Nothing set in stone yet need to get through last few weeks of 2024 first.

A trip to Belgium to show my wife where I come from in mid June 2025

But planning to do a week in Waterberg mountains hunting for meat and hopefully a klipspringer or mountain reedbuck trophy, July 2025

The rest will be open for any good deals that pops up and the cashflow being there.
Luckily I'm here in SA already so no heavy planning on flights etc.

Do you have any cull hunts available? 7 days, daily rate plus per animal price?
