Would you like a Cigar?

Catch'n anything?

We just playing around. Brother in-law with a nice bass, but we all catch and release stuff.

Enjoying a Padron 5000, great full body smoke, never a bad day with a Padron in hand

Happy 4th of July, Gents. After a rainy drizzle for most of the night, it's a beautiful morning in the desert. Finally receiving some moisture we need so desperately.

Hanging out with my usual weekend morning suspects. A 5 Vegas Gold, and a mug of Coffee. Feeling much better then last week.

I have the flag flying, much to the dismay of the America hating Liberals, and will be celebrating later, with a grand feast of Steaks, fresh corn on the cob, and other fixn's as well as the requisite cold beers and premium cigars. Courtesy of Davidoff, and Arturo Fuente.

God bless you, my friends!

Happy Independence Day everyone, and God Bless America!!!!

Those Ashton are excellent mild smokes. (y)(y)

Macanudo Vintage Maduro 1997

Smooth bold cigar. Heavy dark chocolate and coffee presence. After the first inch, I started getting a barnyard note which was a turn off. A bit of white pepper lingers. Not a fan of the barnyard...

$13 seems a bit excessive for my enjoyment (or lack there of) but this a huge toro. For the same price, I would much rather have the Ashton Maduro. I think the Ashton is far superior in every way

I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe Independence Day celebration.

Yesterday was a four cigar day. Started with an Undercrown 10, followed by an Oliva V torpedo, when I got home I smoked an Oliva V Melanio, and ended the night with a Nub Fall Harvest :)

this afternoon I am ending my days off with a Cuban Bolivar, and my GS Kaly keep a watch on the yard while mama works on the yard LOL!!!

Sitting outside under my cover patio, trying to smoke and stay dry, nasty storm moving in :ROFLMAO: Smoking a Florida Sun Grown (FSG) that came with the Drew State sampler I bought a wile back. This cigar is very peppery from the beginning. Hopefully it will mellow out.

Ok

Today was a 2 cigar day (damn refrigerator)

Casa Turrent Serie 1901 - It’s a Mexican Cigar with a different flavor profile having somewhat sweet spice and coffee notes. That said, it would make a good cigar to have with coffee or kahlua (or both). There’s a touch of black pepper in the last 1/4. Not bad, only complaint was the draw on the torpedo was a bit tight. I would have it again in a different shape.

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
