Where do you stop with your /06

It seems some countries do have restrictions regarding cartridges that are or were military but never thought the 30-06 was one. 303 British, 7.62x54R 6mm Lee Enfield 7x57 mm 8mm Mauser etc are some that have long been sporting rounds. Was it the .475 caliber that received such scrunty so the .476 was created to replace it?
Nonsense always seems to prevail over common sense.

This article URL below says the 450 was banned by England in 1905 for India and Sudan. The new 303 cartridge for the Sudan as well.
I am not vouching for the article but it seems to match.
It says Holland and Holland replaced the 450 with the 500/465.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
