Loaded a test batch of 350 grain Weldcores swapping out H4350 for Varget.

Varget gets me a touch closer to my target load density of 90%.
I'll find out how they do on my weekly trip to the range...

That rifle has never liked short bullets. I have been using 50 gr TNT’s in it. Much too explosive for your needs. I am going to try Sierra 52 gr HPBT match bullets as well.

308 Norma mag isn't one you hear much about. How do you like it?

I inherited it a few years back and haven't actually taken anything with it yet (hoping a potential Nilgai hunt comes together soon), but I absolutely love the look of this rifle (Browning Safari Grade from 1968) and how it handles. Shows great promise as a sub-moa shooter as well. I'm working up a load with factory brass, Nosler Accubond 180's, and IMR 4350.
