Yeah, I know what you mean mate. When the wife and I met she had 20/400 vision so was about legally blind. I bought her lasik eye surgery for her birthday after we were married. Damned if she didn't try to leave once she saw what I really looked like! Luckily, I talked her in to staying. I told her to just put a bag over my head and I bought her a 6.5.

I got friendly with the wifes seeing eye dog and she thought I must be a handsome and caring bloke. The beauty of it she is a nonshooter but loves the bush and travelling so I didn't have to buy her a rifle
