Well boys, what's your temperature like now?

I’ll BBQ all year round. I use natural gas though, no bottles to worry about!
I tried last night and failed. In the last few weeks we had two big dumps of snow and -20s temps. Then it warmed up to +5 for a few days. Then rain turning to snow and temp falling into the -20s again. My propane tank ran dry just as I was putting the sausages on the grill. When I tried to pull it out it was frozen in. We were in a hurry to eat and get to my stepdaughter’s band concert and it was too cold to fight with it so the sausages went in the oven. Natural gas sounds better all the time.

Yesterday at this time 8:20AM CT it was 74, this morning it’s 36. Not really that cold but huge fluctuations have wrecked the sinuses.

45º and 83% humidity when I got up this morning. I have an easier time staying warm out at 10º with little or no humidity.

That 10 degrees might come later this winter in Jan/Feb when the Polar Vortex drops down like it did in Feb. 2021. No humidity though. LOL

Made it to 40°F by noon. Then it tried to snow and the tempts started dropping.

Around 29°F overnight. Saturday predictions hi: 36°F lo: 19°F. Sunday predictions hi: 39°F lo: 21°F. Spring tempts start Monday in the 40's. I'll be in Northern Kentucky on Tuesday Christmas Eve and Wednesday Christmas Day where the weather forecast is: Tues 47°/ 37° cloudy, Wed 50°/40° overcast.

60F here today and close to that tomorrow and 40-50s through Christmas. Feels like the Bahamas? LOL
Yeah it was -24C here yesterday and supposed to be +3C on Christmas. It’ll sure make a mess.

Thing is, when it's that humid and in the 30s or low 40s, there's no way to keep the moisture off your skin. I've tried every base layer you can think of. None of them works for this.

We went to Estes Park on spring break a couple years ago, stayed in a cabin just outside the park gates. I decided I wanted to take lunch and eat a couple sandwiches creekside outside the cabin, it was about 45º. Being the good southerner, I had on a t-shirt, a long sleeve shirt above it, and a medium jacket outside of that. Sitting there under bluebird skies enjoying my sammiches , it took me all of about 3 or 4 minutes to shed the jacket, and another 3 or 4 minutes to shed the long sleeve shirt.

45º down here, I don't even walk to the mail box in short sleeves. It just chills to the bone.

We had -4 a couple hours ago. Being a good northerner, I'm going to play the world's smallest violen for you and your 45°. :ROFLMAO:

Quite pleasant here at 20.09 hours in our local bar...

It’s 29F with 57% humidity. Partly sunny. We had a dusting of snow last night, but gone this AM except for a little on the deck.

Beautiful days in Tucson right now, with temps going from upper 30's early morning, into the 70's in the afternoon

Today: right around 32, freezing rain on the way and winds 35-40. A perfect day to hunker down and watch my Chiefs and also a heavyweight title fight. (y)

I'm in shorts and a sweatshirt on my deck. It faces NW so the sun is still on the front of the house keep the temp out back to a frigid low 60's..... :-)

The early arrival Canada's are coming out of the alfalfa fields just outside my neighborhood to the south. Their morning feed is apparently over and they're coming back into the neighborhoods with ponds to rest until this evening when they repeat the process. The nice weather in Phoenix in winter has its allure, but the geese make me wish to be back north hunting them.

Yes, humidity makes cool weather feel that much colder. When I would visit my parents before they passed in the Californicate summers, it would be in the '90s during the day and when the sun went down it cooled off and a sweatshirt felt nice due to the humidity. Might have only been 50- 60 percent but it felt cool. If it's in the low-mid 90s here and doesn't rain, you can just wear a T shirt at midnight and it feels fine with the 10-20 percent humidity. If it rains the temps can drop into the low 60s and it feels chilly.
