Dakota 76 375HH

Wonderful rifle Mark. Every Dakota I've owned has been a good rifle, whether it was a bolt gun or single shot. No exceptions so far.

Stunner! Now you need the .416 Rigby that makes a great buddy to this one!
The Dakota 416 Rigbys are excellent rifles and worth far more than they sell for. Mine is a tack driver as well.

If I was going to go all out for a top end rifle, the 76 would be my first choice. I don't know how you could do better. In a McMillan stock a top make barrel and a fine BR gunsmith to put it all together.

BR as in benchrest? Sound like you know how to ruin a fine sporting rifle

The Dakota 76 doesn’t need anything but good glass and good loads. I’m picky and I wouldn’t change a thing about mine. I do prefer the Talley rings on them.

Just make sure you guys put the correct Talley rings on your Dakota’s. There’s more than one design and they aren’t interchangeable.

Scott you are correct. Talley standard will not fit Dakota Bases. Talley made special bases and rings for Dakota. Just tell the guys at Talley you need for Dakota and they will send the correct ones.

Yes and there are more than one for Dakota. Depends on build date.

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA

Hello - I was looking at your post from several years ago regarding the Winchester 300 H&H. Any chance you still have the lefty M70 300 H&H for sale?
Thank you, Mike

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
