The story behind this picture would be interesting. In spite of the tiger, the whole picture looks very European, from the headgear to the thatched stone hut, the dogs and the general vegetation. Was this an escaped tiger from a zoo or circus? Another possibility that just crossed my mind might be Siberia pre WW I. Some of the guys actually look quite Russian.
This tiger was released from its' cage on November 26, 2013 for an organized tiger hunt by a film company near Droue in France. The feline escaped deep in the woods after having passed the hunters' line of fire. Three days later it could still not be found and it's only on the 29 that the dead animal was found only a 100 meter from where its' cage was opened. This post card portraits the triumphal moment.

Found out the trigger word in the end... It was muzzle or velocity. dropped them and it posted.

I know that this thread is more than a year old but as a new member I thought I would pass along my .280AI loading.
I am shooting F Open long range rather than hunting but here is what is working for me and I have managed a 198.14 at 800 meters.
That is for 20 shots. The 14 are X's which is a 5" circle.
