Verdict: Kyle Rittenhouse Found Not Guilty on All Charges

After he was found innocent does the court then return his rifle? I would hope he was not forced to leave the courthouse unarmed.
He has had quite a bit of security around him at least since the trial started, and I believe that I heard that it was private security.

He should be able to get his rifle back.

On him being able to carry a rifle at that age, Wisconsin and a law against short barreled rifles and since his rifle had the long barrel the charge was thrown out. I am not sure what the length requirements are on this law.

@BSO Dave , no, not at all. They were directed at Curtis in that he posted about Biden 'abiding' by the jury, so should all, and that he has not informed himself of the facts, rather taking the word of the left wing media and politicians.
My sincere apologies for any misunderstanding.. (y)

The vast majority of the liberal and moderate members here including nearly all the europeans whose far right is still left of center in American politics) choose to keep their politics silent because they get called a lying disgusting human being as one member called me. I am not responding to that.
As a european we have a left leaning media but i can assure you the average working man/ women is a bit more to the right thank i think you have been lead to believe.

The moment of self defense does not negate the fact of why he was there in the first place. As I said, I respect the decision of the jury (jurists take their job very serouisly) but this sets a bad precedent that says a group/ind (right or left) can take a rifle into a mob, shoot their way out when things enviable go wrong, and walk away scot free.

first, why he was there in the first place is his business. he was lawfully there, helping out. bad idea in hindsight? maybe, but why were the 3 guys that got shot there?? to burn stuff and riot. bad idea in hindsight? maybe.

second, he took a gun into a mob, and was attacked. what did those dumbasses think was going to happen? especially criminal number 2 and 3 that got shot after the kid demonstrated he was not to be f#$% with.

lastly, curtism, what would you do if you were attacked like that and were, god forbid, armed? would you let them beat you to death? or shoot you? (as the one survivor admitted he tried to do) what should an attacker expect from his potential victim??

the bottom line is, don't try to hurt an armed man or woman and you wont get shot in response. how can you not see that?

The prosecutor aiming Kyle's AR-15 at the jury for theatrics. Notice the finger on the trigger.

  1. He had as much right or more of a right, given his connections to the town, to be there than any of the rioters.
  2. He had a right to be armed for his own defense.
  3. There is/was absolutely no proof that the young man provoked the attack of the first individual. In fact there was testimony that the person was instructed by another, "to catch Kyle and kill him".
  4. First moron tried to grab his firearm, if someone attempts take your weapon you can reasonably assume they are a threat to your life. That individual was shot and killed.
  5. The young man then disengaged and moved away from the situation toward the police. In other words he attempted to defuse the situation.
  6. He was pursued by a mob. Struck from behind and knocked to the ground. In that vulnerable position someone attempted to brain him with a skateboard, kick his head in and shoot him.
  7. Skateboard guy apparently grabbed the rifle's barrel and got shot.
  8. Kicking guy lucked out and was missed.
  9. He pointed the rifle at Glock guy and didn't shoot until that individual tried to flank him and pointed the pistol at him.
  10. After these few seconds of violence the kid again ran away and attempted to turn himself in.
In short if he was some kind of right wing murdering monster why didn't he empty the 30 round mag on the horde that was chasing him? He shot only to defend himself. Period. I watched video the night that happened and concluded it was self defense but figured he'd get screwed. Thankfully I was wrong.

The problem with the left, and @curtism1234 ’s unfactual synopsis is always the same in these matters. Even after the facts are known, they still side with the dredge of humanity instead of the good guys. Even if Kyle was found guilty of manslaughter based on evidence in a hypothetical, most sane people would say “glad the dead are dead, but justice must be served to a well intentioned law breaker”. That’s a normal approach. That’s a conservative to moderate view.

But the left? They rioted because a sexual deviant / rapist with a restraining order shows up at his victims residence, then abducts two children, then resists arrest and a tazer, then assaults two officers, then says he is going to get a knife and kill them. The perp then reaches for a knife in a car with the two abducted children and gets shot and paralyzed by the police. Fact: that is what started the riots.

And then on to the rioters in question. 4-5 time convicted child molester. One same-day in the mental hospital, off his meds, 2x domestic violence jerk. One Marxist revolutionary with a rap sheet and an illegal weapon. Fact: these are the rioters the left is mourning.

I warned all the women in my neighborhood that BLM isn’t about black lives, it’s an excuse for Marxist revolution. They laughed at me. What were the protesters of the verdict last night writing on their banners? That they want a Marxist-socialist revolution since our country cannot be reformed.

The left cares nothing for justice and nothing for those abused by police, they are acting in the moment to drive forth a Marxist agenda. The fools that support BLM or are anti-Kyle are trying to usher in a socialist revolution. That isn’t happening. They produce nothing and will starve instantly after they choke out all meaningful production by those crazy moderates and republicans.

Those AR barrels can be cold.

the bailiff should have grabbed that thing out of his hands and smacked him in the head.
I would have paid to see that;)

Obvouisly violent protests are not acceptable. On the other hand, vigilantism at the hands of a white nationalist is not acceptable either. As the president said today, we have to abide by the jury's decision. However, I believe this verdict will have consequences in the future.
Well, which of the many hundreds/thousands of protests that mostly turned violent at some point over the last year and a half are you speaking of? Portland alone, had some 97 days of violent protests which occurred long after the original purpose of the first protests started. Many of these "peaceful" protests have turned violent in many cities across our country and they CONTINUE over a VARIETY of issues. Looting, arson, assault on law enforcement, etc., have been a hallmark of many of these protests. These aren't about "social justice" per se. What they are about, is an attempt by the organizers to replace Capitalism with a Marxist political system in our country. If the voters in a deep blue state like Virginia can see this and have opted for an alternative, why is it so difficult for others to comprehend what is really happening and the true purpose behind the protests?

When you have ties to the Proud Boys and cross state lines with an AR-15 to place yourself ground zero in a riot, yes, that is white nationalism and vigiliantism. It has nothing to do with protecting your community in this instance. He is no better than the looters

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
