Verdict: Kyle Rittenhouse Found Not Guilty on All Charges

I think I'll drink a Rittenhouse tonight. Chaser followed by three shots. That's good stuff right there
I'm planning to order one at the AH dinner ;)

I'll be there and I'll join you for one. Speaking of which have they got the tickets out for that or whatever you have to get. This is my first trip to the DSC. I got the hotel but haven't got tickets to the actual DSC yet. Do I need to do that ahead of time or can I get them at the door. You can PM me if you want so we don't derail this wonderful thread. Ha ha

Unfortunately saying he has no rights to be there armed that night, is like saying dont wear short skirts or you will get raped.

The first peadophile who caused the domino effect has the other guys life and half a bicep on his bill.

You can't (Pick one) screw a 30/40/50/60/70/80 year old head on a pair of 17 year old's shoulders. Wrong pitch, wrong type of threads and probably left hand too. The kid thought what he was doing was right and got in to an unintended mix with lowlife, human waste products that probably should have spent the rest of their lives behind bars. He then did what he had to do to defend himself from harm. I agree with and would have voted the same as the jurors.

@curtism1234 were all the decisions you made at 17 your wisest moments. It doesn’t change the fact a young man was attacked and forced to take lives. He probably hasn’t even had time to begin to process the emotional toll that’s going to take on him because when the rabid mob realized the couldn’t destroy him directly they turned on him through every form of available social media.

I have a suggestion: If curtism1234 doesn't like the way justice is done in America, there are plenty of countries in the world where his socialist/communist views will fit right in. Hell, I'll even contribute to a one way ticket.

He absolutely had a right to be armed.
He absolutely had a right to defend himself.
It absolutely was self-defense.
It was absolutely the right thing to acquit him.

I have a very active, want-to-help type of daughter who is just a year older than Kyle. There is zero chance I drive her to something like that or consent for her to be there at age 17. Ze-ro.

What the Right on gun/hunting forums repeatedly fails to understand or admit is this is not a 99/1 political affiliation in the US; it's 60/40. The vast majority of the liberal and moderate members here including nearly all the europeans whose far right is still left of center in American politics) choose to keep their politics silent because they get called a lying disgusting human being as one member called me. I am not responding to that.

At worst Rittenhouse is an anarchist looking for trouble and found it. At best he is a youth who made a terrible decision to hang out with the wrong people and he got his life ruined for it (and lucky to be a free man today). The most troubling part of this is the amount of people dubbing him a hero and champion of the 2nd amendment. Rittenhouse is a classic example of what not to do

LOL.. I didn't really think you are an outright troll. I just had to troll you a bit to get a response. It's just that most of the time, when you post something outrageous, you usually to fail to respond when called out... I agree with @WAB in that I think what folks are most annoyed with is not your political views, but your total disregard of the facts, and your inability to justify your contentions.

I welcome anyone's opinion that is well-informed and fact-based, but when you continually post such egregious nonsense, your opinions don't earn the respect and credibility they would otherwise deserve. To assert that you choose not to respond over name calling is a cop out. That's what snowflakes do... If your arguments have merit they will speak for themselves, and you likely wouldn't trigger emotional responses.

I would not say he is a troll. He is one of a few liberal members of this site who has spoken about his stance.

See my comments above... His contentions are not based in fact or reality.. Mostly they are based in complete fabrications and/or emotion.

Is this comment of yours below directed at me? If so, you obviously have not read much of what I have ever posted on this forum.. First of all, nothing I have opined on in this thread is even remotely political unless you regard the rule of law political? Where in this thread or any other have you seen me ever toe any party line? I'm the last guy on here to blindly subscribe or support any one political party or ideology. I form my opinions based on facts applied through the lens of common sense. I have views and ideologies that span the entire political spectrum. The only single ideology that I have ever committed to is to call out bullshit when I see it posted here.. You had better do your homework and pack your lunch pail next time you want to label me in a box.
However, political blindness is rampant, whereas you're attachment to the party obscures reality.

I watched much of the trial.
I didn't know that Kyle put out a dumpster fire that was being rolled down to a gas station to blow up, with people all around.
I didn't know that the Police were told to stand down as businesses were destroyed.
I didn't know that Kyles Dad, Grandma and Friends all lived in Kenosha, 20 minutes from where he resided with his Mom part time in Illinois.
I didn't know that Joseph Rosenbaum knocked him down twice and then attempted to kick him with lethal force to the head.
I didn't know that Huber had hit him in the head 2x with a skateboard.
I didn't know Gaige Grosskreutz, a felon in possession of firearm, aimed his gun at Kyle first, as he admitted on the stand.
I also didn't know that in the State of Wisconsin, it is legal for Kyle to have a gun, even at 17 (which was why the gun charge was dismissed).
I didn't know that Kyle did not cross state lines with a gun he wasn't supposed to have. The rightful gun owner did, as he was legally permitted to do.
I also didn't realize that Rosenbaum was a 5 time convicted CHILD RAPIST Pedofile and that Huber was a 2 time convicted WOMAN BEATER.
I didn't know that Grosskreutz was a convicted BURGLER with an assault on his record also.
IF THE MEDIA DID THEIR JOB... we would ALL have known this!”

After he was found innocent does the court then return his rifle? I would hope he was not forced to leave the courthouse unarmed.

@BSO Dave , no, not at all. They were directed at Curtis in that he posted about Biden 'abiding' by the jury, so should all, and that he has not informed himself of the facts, rather taking the word of the left wing media and politicians.
