For what it's worth, I just used this case this summer to Namibia and works well. And that's true, everyone thought it was a camera tripod or golf clubs! Perfect reason to use it and I recommend the pull out insert from Tuffpak so everything slides out together!

Yes...use the little bag that slides out and zips up. Great way to load it.

Great case. Used mine last two trips.
I can load 3 rifles in soft cases in it. Like has been said, most don't think it is a gun case.
