Tonight is going to be a very long night

As someone who likes dogs more than people, I understand the importance of man’s best friend. With 7 dogs (6 rescues) and 2 cats, they give me a sense of purpose and a rewarding life. Praying for Charlie.

I’m heading out to the hospital now to get updates. He made it through the night so that’s a tiny bit encouraging but no other news than that

Prayers to you @CZDiesel in taking care of Charlie. Vets can do incredible things now. They saved our first family pet, Daisy. They gave her 6 months, after stomach cancer surgery. I didn’t have the money at that time, paid everything I had to on credit. We had Daisy for 3 more years.
Every day is a blessing.

Anyone with a close connection to their animals dreads the day when these things come. I have an old hunting dog that is going downhill quickly. Tough subject.

Feel for you man, I´ve lost four dogs, one was a Beagle.

Hope for a speedy recovery !

Damn, that first post brought a tear to my eye, now I'm gonna have to get off the jobsite before I start bawling like a little baby.

Think about you both bud, pulling hard for Charlie!!!

Been through this also. One of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through. Best of luck and just focus on all the great times you’ve had together and hope for more to come

Just got home, Charlie is in a hyperbaric chamber and is doing a little better, not much but better. The Docs have canceled out cancer and have narrowed it down to congestive heart failure or pneumonia but believe it’s pneumonia.
The Docs are being fairly aggressive in their treatments so fingers crossed he can pull through

Gave my two an extra squeeze when I got home today. Come on Charlie!

Prayers for you and Charlie. It's tough I know been there with my now departed Lab. [emoji120][emoji120]

Sending prayers yours and Charlie’s way

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.

I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).

Very interested.

Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?

I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
