Tattoos... advice from those so adorned

FWIW, and I guess actually unrelated to decisions I will make about tattoos I will put on my own body, I think women with tattoos are HOT! :K Love Eyes: A few have commented that they don't care for tattoos on women, so I thought I'd toss out my two cents on that tattoo related topic. :p

Well now that depends. I've got a female cousin who is inked up and I would say that she would be considered hot but the quantity and location tats have made her less so. She's also a liberal retard and that takes significantly from the hot category as well.

I was strictly commenting on the visual aesthetics and how I perceive them. Being liberal or woke can make even a super model absolutely butt ugly, IMHO.

A bit of duct tape can restore the hotability.

Even all those chicks who got the ironic mustache tattoo on their finger? ;-).

I have been thinking about something like this since I lost my boy prematurely

Might not be a big deal for some but when I do get one now I purposely plan it in the winter so I have less exposure to dirt grime and sweat working outside in the heat.
Healing on a large one is a several week process.

That is what I have done as well. The worst thing I have seen people do is get one on vacation, especially at the beginning of a trip. Now you have a wound you have to care for and keep out of the sun and water. Way to ruin your trip.

@Tundra Tiger My buffalo tattoo was 2 appointments, so that took over a month since you have to let the first session heal before doing the second. Your appointments are going to be at least 2 weeks apart. People with full sleeves or full back pieces often take multiple years, especially if they only do it in winter. How much you can do in one session is going to depend on your artist, the style, your pain tolerance and how your skin reacts. A good artist can tell you what you should expect.
Just don't cry

Do you have a picture of your buffalo tattoo?

Absolutely the single most important thing.. find the RIGHT artist.. then worry about how to get there, when they are available, how much its going to cost, etc (its possible the right artist may require you to travel if they arent anywhere near where you live/work)..

constants in life I think are wise as well... one of mine is related to a son that passed away many years ago.. one is directly related to a unit I served in.. one is related to a team I spent time in combat with.. two are directly related to my wife/marriage.. one is religious and very personal (has been for more than 30 years).. etc etc..
Love it. Sorry for your loss

Excellent work! Who is your tattoo artist in Alaska? I get up there frequently.

Nugget here. A guide gave me the nickname as I looked similar to Nugent at the time. Hunting for over 50 years yet I am new to hunting in another country and its inherent game species. I plan to do archery. I have not yet ruled out the long iron as a tag-along for a stalk. I am still deciding on a short list of game. Not a marksman but better than average with powder and string.
