Don't know how true this is but I read this morning that Ukrainian civilians(men) that are trying to flee the country are shot. Only women and children are allowed to flee. Any male between 18 and 60 are given a gun to fight with.

Ukraine was once the 3rd largest nuclear power.
The "Budapest Memorandum" of 1994, where Russia guaranteed the security and borders of Ukraine in case of repatriation, was not worth the paper.
Now you can ask yourself: if Putin had invaded, the Ukrainians would still have their 1200 nuclear warheads and missiles.

This will be an incentive for those countries (North Korea, Iran etc.) not to disarm and to push the development of nuclear weapons.

Also, take into account that Ukraine's previous experience with this alliance included the purposeful genocide-starvation of approximately 7million people in Ukraine alone in 1932-33.

Consider also, that Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014 and since then Ukraine had made a point of trying to prepare for further military invasions from Russia. The types of videos you attached can be found in most places in the world. A few years ago an anti-gun group in Poland was posting similar videos of catholic camps in the USA except they used ARs rather than AKs.

The war was indeed wanted, pushed and planned - by Putin.

So here is some non-propaganda information that I had witnessed first-hand with my very own eyes and ears. I have visited Ukraine several times in the past few years. Russian speakers were not persecuted and the Russian language was used widely everywhere.

Right now there are approximately 1.5 million Ukrainian refugees in Poland (mostly women and children). These people are escaping the soviet "liberation" efforts. The male population is, for the most part, trying to push back against this "liberation".

I am not suggesting you donate anything to the cause, but if you'd like to see what the situation is truly like through your own eyes rather than media I invite you to the Polish-Ukrainian border to see for yourself.

Earlier in this thread, Ukraine's high level of corruption was mentioned. Yes, the country is plagued by corruption. This is precisely why they have ousted their corrupt, Russian puppet of a president Yanukovych (who found exile in Russia) which eventually lead to the 2019 election of Zelenskyy in a free, democratic process.

Interesting also, that Russia, one of the most corrupt states in the world is making such an effort to help its poor and far less corrupt neighbour.

One of the reasons Zelenskyy had won elections was that he did not come from the political class. Instead, he was an actor and comedian which explains the video that you wish to unwatch. Ukrainians wanted change and a chance to grow and develop. Economically their options were to stay aligned with Russia and Belarus and stay in poverty or try the western way.
