I turned 62 three weeks ago. My last Combat deployment was 2008-09 I was 48...To Old and out of shape I'm angry I'm not there if only to teach the resistance how to use our weapons systems. I'm an old cold warrior who lived on the Iron Curtain for 5 years of a twenty year Army career.

Right there with you. Turning 65 this year. An old broken soldier who still wants to be 20 years old and always ready to put it to them commie bass tards.

May be Putin has a brain tumor & lost his mind, shame the Ukraine does not some A10 wart hogs, to chew up the Russian Armour.
Reactivate Puff the Magic Dragon. That will get someone's attention.

How do you know when God Hates You???:
Somaia, a 19-year-old who fled Afghanistan last year is now hunkered down in Kyiv as Russian troops advance on the city of 3 million. She told Fox News Digital Monday evening that while she could not estimate the number of Afghan refugees facing similar circumstances in Ukraine, she knew of at least four other families from her country who had already made it safely out of the country.

First, they fled the Taliban – now they’re hiding from the Russian army in the middle of its invasion of Ukraine.

I’m not sure of what the gun laws are or even what the gun culture is like in Ukraine, but it'd be nice if some small percentage of the population of Kyiv, let’s just say 3% had a scoped bolt action rifle with some modest skills and the will to use it.
Don’t need to get all high tech.

I'm in Israel right now. Our tour guide's wife is Russian, living in Ukraine. She left the big city (not sure which one) yesterday and drove to be with family out in a village. Normal 1 hour drive took 4 hours. Food is already disappearing as well as fuel. Just can't fathom the evil that exists in this world and it's the common people that have no say that bear the brunt.

I’ve been in some decent gun shops in Ukraine. Folks I visited with were hunters, so I suspect that there are some decent rifles. One of the b-rolls Fox keeps playing flashes by a suppressor. You can’t see the rifle but I suspect it’s a hunting rifle.

Well, it is not looking good for Ukrainians.

Regardless of how much heart Ukrainians have, as Voltaire has said: "God is always on the side of the big battalions."

Once Russians take Kyiv it will be over. Then, it will remain to be seen if an insurgency will rise. Not to mention Russian economy is already hurting due to sanctions.

I sadly believe we are kidding our self s, if we believe that the Ukraines can win this conflict against the Russian military, air power alone could destroy the cities if the Russians are determent to to go that far, they do not give a shit about world opinion , dominate the air & cut off the Ukraines supplies of food, fuel, ammo, medical supplies, the world wants to help but how do you get it there ? The world is a mess, China may well use this opportunity to take Taiwan,& then we would really be in the shit.

@Fred Gunner “… from one Veteran to another = thank-you for your sacrifice/service and the same to all AH members who have served their respective Nations callings.”

I spent 24yrs in the U.S. Air Force (Medical) w/ 14-yrs assigned to a mobility Air Transportable Hospital - a newer versus of the popular TV M.A.S.H. Those 14-yrs took me all over the World & 2/wars in the Middle East: one 1990 young/excited & the other in 2002 older, smarter & knowing there are better ways to address Geopolitics. All those mobility years the goal remained unchanged - to help, sadly you see The World in its Best, it’s Need & Worst days!

I retired in 2005, elected to continue the fight in a different capacity as a U.S. DoD Fed employee & made Ramstein AB, Germany my home the past 16yrs. I continue to see the ugliness of Geopolitics on Life …

To those who believe, “ … GOD is the ultimate Teacher & the Teacher is always quietest during the test.” Life is a daily battle & test …

Heartbreaking to see a Nation force it’s will thru unprovoked conflict onto a another Nation. Ukraine - keep up the fight - most of the World is on your side!

Tell that to the Taliban??? They fought the largest best equipped and funded advanced military the world has ever seen and after 20+ years they were victorious.

So if I went to your home and kicked you in the ass for 20 years and then finally left, would you consider yourself “Victorious“?

Especially if you left me $80 billion worth of stuff.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
