Sticky situation with outfitter - advice appreciated

If you have 7 day hunt planned for 2 species even if you walked 2 hrs it is plenty doable. But if you hike 2 hrs on foot to hunt then recovery of that animals is going to be a bear for whoever packs it even if you cut it in half. Most outfitters have multiple concessions they hunt for certain species, but I have not heard of an increase of that magnitude in the EC for Sable. 8 yrs ago Sable were $14K not they are just above $2700. Enjoy your hunt .

prices on everything have gone up , inflation is hurting everyone
Agree but in RSA, foreign hunter numbers are down 50% from just ten years ago. I've heard the Spanish hunters numbers have fallen off a cliff. In that environment/timeframe, I've seen Sable prices go from 8k+ to less than 3k. Anecdotal, this year has seen a good bump in hunters but I suspect it's from being in kung fu prison for two years. Having said that, glad it all worked out. I'd rather not go on a hunt I felt compelled to do just to not lose money.
