9 of the best days of our lives! My wife and I, 2 sons, My brother and his wife all stayed in a beautiful lodge with all the ammenities. All of us gained weight due to the fabulous meals that were served 3 times a day. We toured and hunted. My wife and sister in law had their own tour guide. She showed them the sights almost every day. As for the hunting; my boys each took 52 inch Kudus, my oldest also took a big Eland. He got to shoot an extra Wildebeest for camp meat. Besides the Kudu, my youngest shot a Burchell's Zebra, Common Blesbuck, and also got to shoot an extra Blesbuck for meat. My brother took a Zebra, Springbuck, Bull Nyala, ewe Nyala, and a Giraffe. We had 3 wonderful and very knowledgable PH's. Gerrie Van Zyl, Gerrit Smit, and Armond Theron. I would highly recommend any one of these PH's and Guwela. We have already started to plan and save for the next trip. PM me for more on what we did as far as sightseeing went. or any other questions.

Outstanding! By the pics I think I was recognizing the area. Were you near the small town of Hoedspruit? I hunted both north and south of that town last year. Congratulations on being able to share that safari with not only your wife but your sons, I'm sure they'll never forget it!!

Yes we were in that area. between Hoedspruit and Tzaneen. My directions were all screwed up during the trip. to be able to share with the whole family ranks up there with their births. Don't tell my wife I said that.

Looks like you had a great time and some great stories to tell.

were you cold or was it raining some days?

We had beautiful weather every day, sunny about 70 degrees. they had gotten way more rain than normal prior to our visit so the leaves were still on the trees. the bush was very thick. longest shot was maybe 75 yds. with the exception of springbuck and blesbuck. The leaves on the trees wasn't that bad. we could still hunt and not make any noise because there were no leaves on the ground.

Lots of good looking animals, congrats!!

The mountains were the giveaway. I hope you took time to tour KNP. I so fell in love with that area the wife and I actually talked about what it would take to own a home there someday.

A great and memorable hunt - congratulations swwildlife.

I am sure 99 percent of all foreign hunters will give an arm to bring their loved ones over on such a trip. Glad you could do so and you and yours enjoyed it so much - after all - that is what it is all about.

Great pictures!

Thanks for posting your hunt report and trophy pictures swwildlife.

Congratulations for your successful hunt !

Congrats on the great hunt, the kudu as always are great to see in photos!

Congrats on a Great hunt glad your family could share it with you nothing like sharing something you love with the ones you love.

Congrats on a great hunt and very nice trophies.
I checked out their website and they have an amazing offer there. 7 day hunt and 5 animals for 3750 US$ all included and transport from and to airport as well.

Thats the package we started with and built from there. It's well worth it. Thanks for all your comments. As most have said, There is nothing more rewarding than to spend time with your family doing the things you all like to do.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
