SOUTH AFRICA: Somerby Safaris 2018 Dont Get Much Better!

Couldn’t agree more about Drom and the entire Somerby crew.

That’s an awesome buffalo. We also hunted with them in 2018. I killed a good Nyala at the same place as your kudu. What a sweet spot right on the river!

Didn’t hunt with Chates but did spend a few days in camp with him and Lindi.

Awesome Safari! Thanks for all the pics. Have you gotten any of the finished taxidermy yet?

No, not yet. My taxidermist didnt recieved it until the end of March. He said that all the 13 animals in the crate were huge. He said he had never seen that good of trophies in one safari.

A grand adventure and some fine trophies!

Thank you sir. The only bad thing is it becomes addictive and I want to be there right now!!!

Congrats for a great hunt and very good trophies !

Addictive is a very appropriate adjective. I’ve been blessed to have hunted with Somerby on 3 occasions and am ready to go again. They run a great operation and are truly wonderful people who treat their guests and staff with dignity and respect.

Congrats on your first of many trips to Africa. Keep on making wonderful memories......

@Mac Baren, I live central to city of Cincinnati. I have work travel early this week but could hopefully meet later this week (with no schedule changes). What area of town are you working/staying in?
Kind regards
Ron
