Hey guys, been a few years since I have been on this site, had to re log in as a new member. I saw this thread and had to comment! I bought a hunt from SCI Calgary in 2016 for a 10 day safari with Dave and Leopard valley! Was very excited about this hunt, took multiple emails to get ahold of Dave and when I did I was blown away by his rude attitude! right off the bat he told me I had to use this hunt on his dates! I said I would try and make that work, when I said I was a bow hunter he said NO WAY! Would not allow bow hunting on his place! Even though the auction description said bow hunting allowed! So after several nasty emails I told Dave I was just going to give the hunt to someone else who could use it, he told NO, I either use it on the date he sends me or I loose it! At this point I contacted SCI Calgary and spoke with the president. Sent him all the communications and he said he would work on it and get back to me! After several weeks he told me he was not able to get ahold of Leopard Valley and asked me to give him more time, I agreed. Several weeks later I got a call from SCI saying they were refunding my money as Dave was extremely rude to them as well and refused to budge, and told them he would never allow me to hunt with him ever anyway! I was then told they would no longer accept donation hunts from Dave and Leopard valley! Was sad to hear but I bought another hunt and took my son for his graduation and had a blast! Planning our next trip!
