Hope I posted this in the correct spot. Just looking to see if anyone has any personal experience hunting with Two Waters Safaris in the Easter Cape for any game at all?

Yes, I did a few years ago. Can't recommend them bad experience. Brian

If you are going to the Eastern Cape, do yourself a favor and contact Maruis at KMG Safaris, you won't regret it.

Never been with Two Waters Safaris so I can’t comment - however I have been with Wild Horizon hunting 3 times - 2019-2022 & 2024, always had a great time with friendly experienced PH’s, if looking for recommendations on the Eastern Cape.

Lots of PH sponsors on this site from the east cape and they have been thoroughly tested and reported on by multiple members. Unless your heart and mind are already made up, maybe look around and read some of those reports before making a final decision-
A pm to Brian from post #2 for some specifics would also be a good move

I just spent 10 days in the Eastern Cape with KMG. Highly recommend them. Treated like family. Message me with any questions.

Isn’t this @Ontario Hunter famous Lodge? He’s recommended them previously
I don't recall dropping the name on here but yes I have hunted with them. Had a great time every time. A minor hiccup with PH at the end of the last trip but he was a new guy. They made it right so no complaints. I have seen some amazing places and lots of game. Always got what I was after plus many opportunities that sprang up. A couple of trophies in the gold medal range but most are good not great. Some were incredibly difficult stalks. Twenty-seven skulls on the wall plus at least half a dozen management culls over four trips. Beautiful country.

Lodging was very nice. Food was great by my standards but I'm not real fussy about grub or drinking.

Highly recommend Nick Bowker Hunting. Excellent Operation.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
