Charlie,

Have a great time experiencing every moment - just as you have with the planning and now the travel. Cherish the time in the field with your son.

John

Good luck Charlie! Have an adventure you'll be proud to tell your grandchildren and their children about!

Happy hunting and straight shooting!

Shout out to Vince Schaffer, best Delta Gate Agent, at the Kansas City Airport. Vince knew I was leaving for Africa today and met me at bag check to help get everything done right! Now that's service folks!

Delta Flight 200 is on time and we board up in a little over an hour!

Everyone thank you so much for the well wishes. We have a great group here on AH! I appreciate the help and guidance so many of you have offered during the planning process of this hunt. ...it's been most helpful.
Now it's time to Execute the plan and get a real nice tusker!

I think one of the least appreciated aspects of hunting in Africa is the making of great memories. The outfitters and PHs become your friends in the span of a week or so. Pieter Erasmus has been very good to work with on this journey of a lifetime and I appreciate the professionalism he has demonstrated. I think we will be friends.

If I don't have WiFi in the lodge I'm sure Billc will keep you guys informed of the hunt progress.

I'm ready to touch my Elephant's Ivory!
