Congrats and thanks for sharing!

Congrats on your trophies! My only regret when I hunted with Limcroma in 2015 is that I didn't take my wife. I can see you got to share your hunts with your sweetheart. Oh well I guess I'll have to plan another trip. Congratulations again!

Beautiful trophies RSTK! I'm very pleased to see you had such a great safari.... Let's hear the stories...

First let me start by stating that the Limcroma operation is a well oiled machine. No detail was left unattended to. From being picked up and dropped off in Joberg at the airport by an armed escort to the AMAZING food. The staff are so attentive and proud of the service they provide. Dan Leahy provided timely answers and guidance in planning and executing this trip!

Our PH was Hardus. The newest of all the PHs, he is very methodical and patient. VERY professional. He made sure we were taking mature animals of great quality.

My 1st animal was the Kudu. He was 30 yards and slightly quartering away. I used a Magnus Black Hornet and an FMJ arrow out of my Hoyt Faktor 30 compound set at 65 lbs. Complete pass through. More to come.....

The next animal we took was a Blesbuck. I was preparing to shoot an impala ram when four Blesbuck came in. Hardus, our PH, called me off of the Impala told me to shoot the bull on the right of the water trough.

We followed up the Blesbuck with an awesome Gemsbok bull that evening.

Cool, thanks for sharing the video!

Next was the Impala. I thought the shot was perfect but it was forward and low. We tracked him after 30 min and he got up and took off. We gave him 2 hours and brought the tracker back. I was lucky. Must have clipped the front of the heart. Watch the doe in the foreground. She string jumps and is on the move well before the arrow gets to the ram.

Next came the Blue Wildebeest. Another old mature animal. He came in with about 3 minutes of shooting light left. He ran about 150 yards. At one point I saw a massive spray of blood come out of his mouth and nose. A 150 grain razor sharp VPA 3 blade really did the trick!

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
Ready for the hunt with HTK Safaris
