SOUTH AFRICA: Back To KMG Hunting Safaris

Great eland, but make sure your son realizes what an incredible springbuck that is!
Thank you, that means a lot. I will certainly convey the message:)

Smoke'n springbok for sure, keep it going.

Have a great hunt.

Trophies so far are exceptional.

All the best.

Thanks guys. And, just between you, me and about 15M internet souls, my Eland had a huge impact on me because it was the first animal I ever wanted to take in Africa. But, when I went to thank Marius for the Springbok he got Nuval on I was choked up. It's more special that he has that memory than anything.

Thoughts on the CEB Maximus. I shot 180 grain bullet. Accuracy is superb. Terminal effect seemed also great. There was no explosive type exit wound on the smaller animals, just a hole about the size of a Canadian $2 coin. On the Eland, it was a complete pass- through both shoulders. The hole in the heart was large enough to put your finger in. This is the exit hole. The eland only went about 10 yards or so before sitting down and the rolling on its back. I have the picture of the heart for any that are interested.

So, shot placement obviously was determinative of the outcome, but the terminal effect of the design still seemed to be very good, and not destructive on the wat out.

That's impressive. My 308 Norma with the 180 Sierra Game King tends to explode Springbok.

Good luck with the rest of the hunt and well done on some marvelous animals taken.
Take care and have fun

Ummmm.....with the Cape Buffalo we tripped over today I think I will stick to my monometals, however puny they may have been in the circumstances... ;)

Cape Mountain Zebra - tagged out now. What an incredible adventure. One more for Nuval though.

My son hunted his Impala on a low fence farm .

He missed his shot in 2016 and this was a rematch. His first shot was high. There was a loud ricochet sound and when we got to where the impala there was no blood. We searched around and we found this.

We searched and did not see that one again. A general search of the property located a few fighting rams. Then @KMG Hunting Safaris spotted a good one. A long stalk ensued. A nice shot and Nuval, after 6 years of regret, got his ram

We have had an incredible time. The areas we have been are diverse. The hunting has been difficult and exciting. I am very glad I came back to this remarkable country. I love meeting the locals and learning more about the culture here.

I am sure my enthusiasm for South Africa has been shaped by my choice of PH, as Marius doesn't cut corners on the hunt - he will ensure you know you have hunted! I am very thankful for that.

Do you have any cull hunts available? 7 days, daily rate plus per animal price?
