Some 7x64 CZ550 Pics for Sestoppleman

I was recently offered one very similar as yours, only it was chambered in .243.

Sadly, I have no use for a .243

Most of the offered GKï½´s here (Austria) are in 7x64. This was the common cartridge here up to the 80 of the last century. You can get a GK
from 800 Euros up, depending on condition and optic.

It is reassuring to know that the cartridge, the 7x64mm, is alive and well in Europe.

It seems to have a small, but strong, following in Aus, a few in N.Z and who knows how many in the U.S.

Hi fellas.

As an up-date to this thread here are a selection of boars I recently took in Northern Australia with my 7x64.

Load used was the Sellior & Bellot 140gn factory loads which proved adequate so long as I didn't target the fighting shield on the shoulder and kept my shots behind the front leg.

Rifle in the pics is my Doumolin FN.

Cheers,

Paul.

Good stuff Paul! Looks like that beauty is working out for you. Good Oh!:D
