Second that!

Edward you are inspiring me. What is the size and weight of the tusks? I'm trying to learn more about the really big game.

Bob

Edward I also would appreciate you telling us about your tusks. How does one judge the weight of tusks?

bob, austin, judging tusks is a job for pros.some are long and thin, short and thick, somewhere in between.different areas reproduce different sizes.in 2011 my wife and i went to zim on a 10 day elephant hunt.long story short .on the 8th day i got my bull.at 73 then, i had never walked so much in my life.i was told that my tusks were a good representation of what was available in that part of the country.they weighed 43 lbs after drying.to me they are my greatest trophy's,ever!!!!!!!as a side, all my african and north american trophy,s have been taken with handguns.in june of 2014 i took a hippo, sable, and cape buff bull but had to use my double as the local airlines refused to trans port handguns, but all worked out well.

Very nice sir . Those being 43 pounds I would have guessed heavier. They look to be over 40 inches long judging the stand they are on and the safe in the background

thanks eddie , I really like what you have had done to his ears, mate .
what is the skin on the floor near your front door from ?

austin,my tusks had huge nerves that took a lot of room at the lip, according to my ph that accounted for them looking heavier. bluey, the hide is a bison hide.my wife and i love buffalo meat and we try to kill one every other year.

Keep posting photos guys. My animals from my safari in March are now at the taxidermist, but I am still trying to decide how to have a couple mounted/displayed. A guy can never have too much taxidermy.

do me a favor mate , come over for dinner on sunday evening and explain that to my beloved wife...............

damp, what do you mean , it only rains 11 and 1/2 months a year where you live and then drips off the trees for the rest of the year

You must have been here in summer the dry season its worse in winter .!

I'm a lucky guy with a great wife, when I shot a giraffe she was the one who said the only place it would be able to fit is right in the front-door entry of the house. She's been talking about some of the things she can move off walls to make room for the mounts, her only stipulation has been that when I go back for safari #2 she wants to go this time.

Yes you are very lucky! We have a wall in our house 18 ft tall and 24 ft long without a single thing on it. We laugh about it has never even had a nail in it yet. I always joke that my next wife is going to let me hang taxidermy on it and she replies that my next wife isn't getting the house! But it was her idea to build a trophy room next to the house, so I came out pretty good after all.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
