225 grains of Accubond hustling along at 3140 fps... if your AH handle is accurate, this one would be just about perfect for you... 5000 ft/lb and flat, for that 7X7 that hangs up across the valley! Like the Hammer of Thor! Lol.

The Accubond is a great bullet too. I have some 250gr for my .338WM, but I think the 225gr is the way to go for elk.
 
I've used quite a few b&c stocks all have been good, thinking of using one on my 9.3x62 98 mauser build. Want to see if they will make them for the pre 64 m70.
 
To bad they don't make the Alaskan medalist anymore, think they were a few Oz lighter and I don't think the aluminum went all the way to the sling stud. They do take some time to break in and self bed the action, they fit like a glove after that.

may I suggest Intaba Safaris in the East Cape by Port Elizabeth, Eugene is a great guy, 2 of us will be there April 6th to April 14th. he does cull hunts(that's what I am doing) and if you go to his web site he is and offering daily fees of 200.00 and good cull prices. Thanks Jim
