Shiloh Sharps 45-90

Love that rifle, but dies for reloading are hard to find!

@jeff Ya, don't see too many boxes of 45-90 at the local gunshop. I'll throw in a new 3 die set of RCBS for reloading to the buyer........Bill

I'll help you spend your money on a very fine rifle.
@flatwater bill has already sweetened the pot with RCBS dies.

Graf and Sons has Redding dies and Lee Factory Crimp Die, and Midway USA has Starline Brass.

Go ahead and buy it and post some Bison hunt pictures.

I should be getting close to my Quigley at long last, they cashed my check for the balance, should be soon, not too long now, just around the corner.......only been 2 years and 2 months...be patient, wont be long now,....

Bump for a nice Sharps and a good seller. I bought the safe mate to this gun. If not for having more hunts in the works, I would have bought this one too.

quigley rifle match is next weekend in MT. if you hurry and buy, load ammo, and go have fun shooting the 32nd annual quigley.. i leave on monday to the match..

biggergun-good luck at the match. My neighbor isn't going this year. He finished second the first time he shot it around 10 years ago and won it the next year!

@biggergun Ya, that match is June 15 this year. I always planned to go, but then life got in the way. I see that some use model 86's and some Rollingblocks, quite a few use Win Hi and Lows.....but the match was really started for the Sharps Model 74. In fact, the term sharpshooter, and the military ribbon of the same name, was derived from men using the Sharps rifle. Although I own one Purdey shotgun, the fit and finish on this listed Shiloh is every bit as good as that. I think I will drive up there and see if I can generate a little interest in my rifle. Don't think shooting is on the agenda for me....I have had my successes in past competitions, but the calendar has turned too many times. Thanks for the heads up....and @sestoppelman you never know when (if) that Quigley will arrive.....should buy this one just in case................FWB

Hi Jon,
I saw your post for the .500 NE cases. Are these all brass or are they nickel plated? Hard for me to tell... sorry.
Thanks,
