Setting up an Africana themed Office / Man Cave

We have discussed this before…I am starting with 3/4 inch plywood on all four walls then sheetrock so I can hang mounts anywhere without worrying about studs. Probably the most important thing I am doing
You will be losing a lot of floor space. I think 1/2" plywood would be more than enough. I have backed sheetrock and thin paneling with 1/4" plywood and it's plenty strong enough to hold up my mounts. One of the fellas at senior center here in Montana told me yesterday over coffee that he just paid $132 for ONE sheet of 3/4" good-one-side fir plywood. Good grief!

The move and transition have gone wonderfully - thank you. We have made many new friends and look forward to making more.

We had the horse barn converted to a shop, put in a pond, and are starting the trophy room - utilizing some unused rooms upstairs, adding a balcony to handle in ingress/egress of large trophies as well as enjoy the views of the properties and the occasional cigar.

Here's a few pictures of some elephant leg bones I had carved, they should make an interesting accent to the trophy room.View attachment 647756View attachment 647757View attachment 647758View attachment 647759
What a great idea!!!! Would you mind sharing who did the work for you and maybe just a “range” in pricing versus actual amount please?

Most important. Cool peeps to come to your safari room party.
Spectacular & nice to see you and the Boss having some fun with it too!

Very nice to see what everyone does to feel like they are in the outdoors when they are trapped inside!
I'm really just starting my Man Loft. However I have several trophies and a zebra hide that will arrive next year from my safari this year. I can't wait to make user of them in the loft!.

Rare Breed,

The carvings were done through Collett's in Zim. Cost was $300.00 per leg bone. I supplied the leg bones.

What a great way to kick off our 2025 hunting season in South Africa.

This beautiful Impala ram was taken at just over 300 yards, took a few steps and toppled over.

We are looking forward to the next week and a half of hunting with our first client of the year.

Do you have any more copies of African Dangerous Game Cartridges, Author: Pierre van der Walt ? I'm looking for one. Thanks for any information, John [redacted]

Out of all the different color variations of Impala the black Impala just stands out with its beautiful pitch black hide.

Impala is one of the animals you will see all over Africa.
You can see them in herds of a 100 plus together.

This excellent ram was taken with one of our previous client this past season.
