I would like to put a scope on my Remington M-798 in 458 win mag. Any suggestions?
Thank you all in advance.

Have you considered some type of red dot? Depends on what you plan on using the rifle for I know, but I really like red dots both for getting on target fast and as an option other than open sights on a big bore.

Just a thought.

Royal27 you read my story about the Trijicon RMR.

That's what I would use.......in absence of experience with the other red dots.
Mine is great and as you say, quick and easy!

I did, and I agree. A couple of years ago I kind of rolled my eyes at red dots, but my opnion has really changed.

And if anyone wonders if I really like them on a big bore just look at my face after I shoot.... :)

I used scope Schmidt&Bender Zénith 1,1-4x24 with FD7 reticle for my last buffalo hunt in very thick bush.
I think use this one for an other dangerous game trip.
