lol , I very rarely buy any hunting or fishing clothing
My wife has a knack for finding excellent clothing usually with a high UV factor 30-50 on sale on line
Same with hunting pants ( I really like the Duluth trading company and Columbia, magellen ) I’m not really particularly fond of anything 100% cotton
I buy my own boots and insoles though
I will have her read this thread to give her Christmas & birthday ideas for the 2025 trips
I really like the Poncho outdoors shirts as well for hot weather, perfect for a summer safari or for general stuff around the ranch here in TX. I know they make some heavier duty shirts but haven't tried them out yet. Ball and Buck makes a solid shirt as well.
Check out Duluth Trading Firehose shirts. I still have one in dark brown. Worked great. The other I had was a long sleeved Cabela's canvas shirt. It was, I think, light green, I gave it a dye job to a darker OD drab green. Perfect for all of my hunts. I see some Redhead Flex canvas shirts in field khaki that appear dark enough now.
I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
