This includes a Browning A-Bolt Stainless Hunter in 30.06 and Ruger #1 in .416 Remington Magnum, together with accessories and double rifle case, ready to hunt!
The Browning - discontinued, dinged up, but still a magnificent performer - groups 150 grain bullets MOA or less, and 180's at 1.5". Stainless steel action, wood stock, detachable four round magazine, 3x9x40 Leupold VARI-X ll scope in matte black finish with duplex reticule, cocking indicator ahead of the tang mounted safety. It's been hunting Alaska for over 30 years and has never, ever had any kind of malfunction. Comes with clear flip-up scope covers, 10 round cordura shell carrier, one leather sling and one brand new synthetic sling.
The Ruger - beautiful big bore rifle! Satin finished walnut and blued steel; Leupold M8 6x42 fixed power scope with bold duplex reticle; flip-up rear adjustable iron sight mounted below objective scope lens, blade front sight; ejects empties with authority. One blemish on top of the barrel, and the Limbsaver Decelerator pad is not a flush fit with the stock, as pictured. Comes with Rhodesian sling from "Andy's Leather", clear flip-up scope covers, scope sock, 5 round suede leather butt stock cartridge carrier, 5 round Tourbon leather belt cartridge carrier, and “Original Power” right hand shoulder pad.
The gun case - Pelican Vault with five layers of foam pads, already cut to accept the rifles and slings; four hinges, six latches, fold down handles on three sides, four points to accept 1/2" padlock hasps. This has gone from Alaska to Johannesburg to Niassa and back, and barely got scratched.
Asking $1,800 OBO for the whole lot , plus shipping & insurance. (The loaded gun case measures 19.5 x 7 x 56.5 inches, and weighs 40 pounds, which is a couple hundred dollars to ship from Anchorage to Seattle, but for another couple hundred you could buy me a round trip plane ticket and I can bring ammo with me. Let's deaL) I really don't want to break these up, but if there aren't any takers they'll be re-listed individually.
