Safari boots and brands !!!

Just to add on. I had some kind of Keen light hiker on my first trip to SA last year. If I had a nickel for every time thr PH or tracker or literally anybody within 20 yds glared at me for my heavy footed tromping I coukd have certainly had a bucket of nickels. Headed to Zim next year for cape buffalo and felt that being quieter would be good fir my health. Tried a set if Courteneys from an esteemed member here (thanks @Mark Biggerstaff) but they were too big. Loved the feel and the construction and really liked the tyre tread sole. However, getting a pair in my size proved to be exceedingly expensive. Decided to try Jim Green Rangers. 12's were too big. 11.5s with an intolerant added were perfect. For reference I wear a 12 in almost everything else. Toe box is good. Width is good. Some of you all with sasquatch feet might like them w/o the insole. Been wearing them around thr farm and pleased with how they are breaking in. And they are very quiet. You can really feel the ground. Hope that helps somebody in their selection.

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ
