that’s the rmr mounted. It’s clear of any cases being loaded or ejected. Works just fine.
looks a little high for me
hope it works well for you
i like a firm cheek weld with my red dot on my Blaser 416RM. but thats me. originally i also had a n adaptor plate of sorts but i got a gunsmith in germany to help me out and he gave me the burris fast fire directly on a QD mount for blaser, much better and lower

It is a touch higher than id like, not so much that it is a problem though.
The adapter plate is what makes it slightly higher.

If i have a chance after this season, i will try bring the parts down to RSA and try get someone to modify them to do away with the adapter plate, unfortunately with the season starting, i dont have the chance to do that currently.

I used one of these and than had to mill a small amount off the red dot mount to clear so my wife could use the Kahles red dot on her 375 ruger that she use to have.
This is what I was thinking of doing with my RSM. How high does the red dot sit with these mounts under it? Any pictures possible?

may I suggest Intaba Safaris in the East Cape by Port Elizabeth, Eugene is a great guy, 2 of us will be there April 6th to April 14th. he does cull hunts(that's what I am doing) and if you go to his web site he is and offering daily fees of 200.00 and good cull prices. Thanks Jim
Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
