gizmo, if you don't mind.....what feed are you using to attract those mule deer? Just corn? I've got a great mule deer place that I would like to experiment with. Thanks.

That particular feeder is for pigs so yes it's just corn with a Rockin G secret powder:sneaky:
I do have a custom feed for mule deer that I feed year round. I have a feed company blend it for me but I have to order tons of it at a time.

I have a bunch more videos, I just need to get them uploaded.

I believe I recognize that spot!

nice pics.

I really need to start carrying a camera in the field more often. Archery season is in full swing, I'm guiding a hunt for dove and hogs at the moment but saw 32 mule deer and 3 whitetail on the ranch today. We killed a handful of birds this afternoon, not the great numbers this year that we're accustomed to but had fun. Hogs were squeeling up and down the creek all night while I was cooking supper. Guys caught about 20 bass on the lake mid day messing around. Great start so far.

Sounds like a good day out. We all guilty of not carrying our cameras out in the field enough.

I felt like a moron, heading back up to the lodge to cook supper and get everyone settled in we drove up on one of my food plots. There was about a dozen or so mule deer on the plot feeding. I was bet I couldn't sneak up on them. Game on! Got in to 20 yards and sat there for 30 min watching them feed around me. No shooters in the group, all does and young fork horns. There was 1 young 3 1/2 year old 8 point ( Texas count) who will be somebody one day if given about 4 more years. Fun evening.

Gizmo those are some very nice feeders you have on the property!
I have got to come out there and hunt with you!

I saw you were looking for some Swift A-Frames for your 9.3. I just bought a bulk supply of them in the 285g. version. If Toby's are gone, I could let 100 go for $200 shipped you are interested.
Thanks,
Gary
