Another scam...

Just a heads up on another scam. I have a "wanted" listing on here (for a Contender barrel in 45 Colt). I got a PM from someone telling me his buddy has one for sale and gave me his email address. The PM has since disappeared - somehow.

So I send this dipshit - Willy Vargason - an email asking about his barrel. His response made it immediately apparent that it was a scam - poor grammar, description of items from someone who obviously doesn't know guns, etc.

Just an FYI. His email is willyvargasonjrb17@gmail.com.

Good eye. Had a similar experience with a “seller” in Wisconsin, for a Mauser M03. I asked him for a simple diameter measurement at the muzzle, so that I’d know if the barrel would be compatible with my M03, as there were different barrel thicknesses. Reply was a hostile “this is a good deal for you”, “I’ve owned this for 3 years and paid XYZ dollars”, etc….. really bizarre for just a simple request. Asked GunBroker to look into it, and he vanished.
