Reloader 15

I am trying to watch the internet for Reloader 15. If someone gets a lead on some please let me know. I would like to get 5 pound keg if possible. Thanks in advance.
Check with Brownells I know they had some a few weeks ago.

There is plenty on Gun Broker if you want it bad enough.
Just found some doing a quick search on that site. This is how it reads to my eye - five pounds for sale at $379.95, which already includes a 4% cash discount. Using a credit card you pay that extra 4%, and $69.95 for shipping.

Comes out to $99.02 per pound.

I won't be jumping in front of anyone to get in line for that. Definitely need to want it bad enough.

Shyda's Sporting Goods in Lebanon, PA had some 1 pounders for $47.99 a few days ago. Probably gone by now but it might be worth a call if you're not too far down in VA.

I haven't seen any 5# jugs in several years now, but I am starting to see some 1# canisters at various gun shows. The going price seems to be $60/lb. which is still not inexpensive. I've purchased a couple canisters of it and passed on a few more, as I don't care to hog it all.

If you locate some online, remember to factor-in the cost of HAZMAT charges and shipping.

My local gun store has had 2 shipments of powder last year with RL 15 in the inventory. I was lucky to grab a pound each time.

Powder Valley had some last week. 1 pounders — I think 5 worked up to a bit over $60/lb
Powder Valley has sent more than one shipment to my house over the years! :)

Am stocked up on RL15, still looking for and need RL17.

If anyone knows of a supply of 1 pound Reloder 15, I’m in. Maybe we can do a group buy, for a 40 foot container?

Seriously, when developing a regulation load for my 450/400 Nitro double, I was scrambling for more Reloder 15 powder when Covid hit.

i managed to find a couple of pounds of Norma 203B, for $60 per pound. All my internet research, and a lot of it , said equivalent powder to Reloder 15.
So far so good.

I felt like I got lucky.

Any consideration for Accurate 2520 or 4064? $257 or $298 for 8 lbs respectively at Powder Valley and more importantly, it's available.

I'm in! My experience leads me to Powder Valley. They've always done right by me in terms of customer service and product availability. With demand so high the last few years, their online stock isn't what it was, nor is anyone eles's.

Definitely following and willing to pitch in administratively.

I bought several different types of Accurate during the COVID out of stock period. They were accurate enough for me in 375, 416, and 458 cartridges. What I didn't like was those ball powders really clump, almost glue themselves together when compressed. I discovered this when I pulled bullets to change the loads. I had to use the wooden end of a long q-tip to poke through the hard glob of powder.

The loads I shot most probably were all globbed together and still performed very well. Maybe someone else has more experience with taking compressed ball powder loads on Africa hunts where it is so hot one cannot touch their rifle's metal? Me, I scrounged enough H4895 for my hunt ammo...

I managed to stock up before everything dried up. The RL15 is a bit thinner on my shelf now but not panic time yet

Just made my first purchase with Powder Valley last night. They had H4350 in stock, one pound jars only. I ordered 5 and once the shipping, tax, etc was added it worked out to $60 per pound.

Hello, My wife and I hunted with Marius 2 years ago. He fit us into his schedule after a different outfitter "bailed" on us. He was always very good with communications and although we didn't end up meeting him personally, he called us multiple times during our hunt to make sure things were going well. We were very happy with him.

Reach out to the guys at Epic Outdoors.

They will steer you right for landowner tags and outfitters that have them.

I have held a membership with them for years and they are an invaluable resource.

Way better that asking random people on the internet...WAY better

Skydiver386,

Did you ever find your 30-06 CZ550? I own a fairly solid conditioned one, if you wanted to talk.
