Private Flights for the same cost of business class without the hassle of commercial

If you have the funds to do charter jet for safari, you surely are not doing so to hunt RSA. (no offense intended whatsoever)

In Zim, one of my PHs had ONE client do such activity. a 3-day elephant and leopard hunt x2. They refused to stay longer. They were in a big hurry. They flew in and out on their jet. They were oligarchs.

My point being, even Zim typically caters to the commercial flight riff-raff with rare exception. I'm sure Tanzania and Uganda get a few more of the literal jet-set flying in private, but its worth the $100,000 private flight for their privacy and for their itinerary to do so on a quarter of a million dollar hunt with prescriptive in/out requirements and accommodations.

I know this isn't the direct point of the thread, but if the desire is to get a bunch of buddies together for a hunt and have a private experience, why not book way-way early on Qatari or Emirates and literally buy out the whole b-class section of the plane at $5500 a crack? It'd be a helluva tour for a lot less cost and for pennies you could get concierge service at the entry port with special lines and preprinted forms. This is exactly what Mugabe's wife does in fact. I couldn't get a b-class ticket to Zim because she buys out all of business for herself and her security entourage.

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.
