Just a bit over what I have in it. I haven't shot this one with anything over 260 gr. CEB. The last one I had in the early 80's I shot the 500 gr. Factory soft nose and loaded 350 Hornady's and 400 gr. Speer. Those 500's would get your attention !
That's how I learned a DG rifle should not have e swivel stud on the forearm !
The 260 gr. isn't too bad. The rifle unloaded weighs 11.9 lbs. I'm about 200 lbs. ( fat) and 5'9" at 64 years. The data puts this round at nearly 3,400 fps. Both whitetails I shot this year went STRAIGHT down.

If you reload to 458wm specs it would be awesome . I have thought about this if I had one., getting it right between 2150-2200 fps with all that extra case space.
