Gypsies are Northern India. And from the Urals - it's just Hungarians.
The Gypsies have a very interesting history. I was referring to the homeland of Hungarians, Finns, Estonians and other Uralic speaking peoples

Has any noticed that of late, every time the media show footage is Biden giving a speech his face is completely expressionless. The only thing moving are his lips. His eyes stair straight ahead and in a perpetual squint. Has he deteriorated that much or are his handlers forcing him to stick like death to the teleprompter? Even those Japanese human-like robots have more expression.

I think that is the case. Biden is so befuddled by everything happening that he has caved to his handlers and just does what he is told and reads what is put i front of him. this is way beyond sad for the country and the free world.

California just gets weirder and weirder. I'm guessing the Kardashians will campaign for Bruce/Caitlyn.

Caitlyn Jenner, the former Olympic athlete-turned-transgender activist and reality TV star, has declared her intention to run for California governor in the looming recall race to unseat incumbent Democrat Gavin Newsom.

In a website launched Friday, Jenner says: "I'm In! California has been my home for nearly 50 years. I came here because I knew that anyone, regardless of their background or station in life, could turn their dreams into reality. But for the past decade, we have seen the glimmer of the Golden State reduced by one-party rule that places politics over progress and special interests over people. Sacramento needs an honest leader with a clear vision."

Walk softly and carry a big stick!!!

Oh wait.....Nevermind :A Blink:

I have to laugh when I see all this climate bullshit. Two people can't agree on what eatery to go to let alone a mass of human beings agreeing to change a couple hundred thousand years of habits. These politicians prove the old adage, if your stupid or dead, you don't know it but everyone around you does.

Glad somebody can laugh, because I can't.

It puts me in a Mark Twain Frenzy

“I haven't any right to criticize books, and I don't do it except when I hate them. I often want to criticize Jane Austen, but her books madden me so that I can't conceal my frenzy from the reader; and therefore I have to stop every time I begin. Every time I read Pride and Prejudice I want to dig her up and beat her over the skull with her own shin-bone.”

Yes, i have noticed the same thing the last few weeks. Notice too that no matter where he goes or speaks, Camela follows him like a shadow. It's already a dual presidency.

And dangerous too.

More like a dual conspiracy.

True. Romanian is from roman group of langagues. (with italian, french, portugal, spanish, etc)

That’s correct. They are in fact called “Latin” languages, as this is what the romans spoke. The Latin languages are: Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Romanian.

The Urals or even to the east, Southern Siberia. But this is a very diverse group of languages, they are further apart than the languages of other groups, Finns do not understand Hungarians at all.
But in the First World War, when Hungarian prisoners were taken to Siberia, they were surprised to find that they could communicate with the natives there. Such tribes are the Mansi and Khanty. They lived there at about the level of the American Indians. Small nations. The current mayor of Moscow, Sobyanin, is said to be a Mansi, so he has the nickname "reindeer herder".
The Russian Federation has several autonomous republics with Finno-Ugric official languages, mainly in the Volga basin. They have little in common with each other, only the borrowed words are clear.
Presumably, the Japanese language is also related to the Uralic group, an important element of the Japanese nation - horsemen with characteristic sabers - are recorded in Southern Siberia until the 6th century.

Latin is a special language. It still exists today as the language of science and religion. A lot of words in all European and not only European are borrowed from Latin-legal terms, technical, agricultural. In Russian, even the liturgical ones are Latin, although the Orthodox Church is mostly Greek-speaking.
But not just the language. Many proverbs and expressions in national languages are translated from Latin. Even most of the beautiful melodies, if you look for history, come from the Latin Ecumene. Here is the influence of the Empire. In Asia, China was similarly influenced. What will modern empires leave behind? Something will be left, of course.

This is true, but I think we have a misundersdanding.

Roman, or latin group of modern languages, today are: Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Romanian.
In south America, they speak spanish and portuguese, and south america for this reason is called latin america.

Marko, it's google translation :) in Russian Latin - it's language, and a lot of languages on base of Latin are Romance languages. But America - Latin, not Romance :)
You need to keep an eye on this translator. We are on our way to robot power.

There are also a few minor ones still spoken as well:
Catalan is the language of Adorra
Romansh is still one of the official languages of Switzerland
Sardo is spoken by locals on Sardinia

Not sure your price range. Have a 375 H&H with a muzzle brake. Nice rifle only fired a few times. Also a Mossberg 375 Ruger its been used and shows a few hunts on it.
